Role of a Walk Through Metal Detector

An archway metal detector generates an alarm when the detected metal signal exceeds the configured threshold. Multi-zone indicators show the approximate vertical location of the alarm. This information can make secondary checks more focused, but it does not identify the exact object or replace operator assessment.
